Teamwork

"Teamwork is the ability to work together toward a common vision, the ability to direct individual accomplishments toward organizational objectives. It is the fuel that allows common people to attain uncommon results (from www.bankersonline.com)." As Moses pursued all that God had given him to do, it quickly became clear that there was no way that he could do it all by himself. Here in Numbers Moses is directed to divide the tasks out to the different families. They knew where they were to camp and what their responsibilities were when it was time to move. When you think of the logistics of moving this crowd of people throught the wilderness, you know it was a huge project, bigger that any one man.
The work of God's kingdom continues to be the same, but God has not deserted us. We don't have to row our boat all alone. First He has promised that He will be with us. In Matthew 28:19-20 as He gives us the great commission He says,
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations,
baptizing them in the name of the Father
and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,
and teaching them to obey
everything I have commanded you.
And surely I am with you always,
to the very end of the age."
The he also reminds us that we are to work together. We are not only in the boat with Christ, but we row together with our brothers. Galatians 6:2 says,
Carry each other's burdens, and in this way
you will fulfill the law of Christ.
We only have real success in the work of Christ's Kingdom when we help others to succeed. We are in the boat together. Together we can win! Have a victorious day!
